Tesla Coil Features

• "Coils now come with SPUN 2" X 9" TORIODS which were painstankenly designed and made by me to improve looks and performance. This is a brand new feature and im getting ready to experiment some more with thier construction.
• Uses professionally made boards. They are 2 layer and of the highest quality.
• Runs at about 215KHz.
• No variac is needed simply plug it in and flip the switch. Power switch is on 9 foot cord.
• My coils do not use a breakout point! Streamers can break out in any direction at any time and there are often multiple streamers at a time which makes this coil unique to 99% of all solid state Tesla coils. This feature adds spontaneity and also makes it much more exciting to watch.
• Runs at ~120 bursts per second. The spark on time is roughly 220uS this causes a continuous streamer effect, not a strobed effect as in other SSTC's.
• Coil is very efficient. Pulse width is set conservatively to insure reliability.
• 25" tall 8" wide, sparks can reach 24" long.

My coils have been tediously tested and refined for ruggedness and reliability, as well as fun factor. After all entertainment is the primary goal here. I take a lot of pride in my work and strive for perfection. I started selling these coils for two years now and so far I have had only great feedback on these coils and more than a few returning customers. I continually improve my design and welcome any new ideas or suggestions. You absolutley will not find a coil of this quality anywhere for such a low price! Ive have cut down my frequency of sales in order to offer a better product by putting more time into each coil.

A Little About My Coiling History

I had started building coils about eight years ago and my first coil was a of the spark gap variety. Although fun and exciting I was disappointed in its short run times, loud spark gap and constant failure of the high voltage transformer. Not to mention the wake up call I got from a bad shock off the tank caps. It was then approximately six years later I discovered the solid state coil! From there I built several of my own coils and fine tuned a design that eventually turned into the one I currently sell. I stand by this design and so far I have invested 4+ years and thousands of dollars into it.
